IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR FEN PHEN CLIENTS

The Miller Firm is continuing to process the final funding of the Fenphen settlement. The majority of clients have received settlement checks, however, for those who have not been paid, rest assured that we are diligently working on the issues that remain concerning your claim. Issues that are tying up the few remaining cases involve such things as the contacting of the bankruptcy trustees and/or estate issues. No one knew from the onset how long this settlement process was going to take and we greatly appreciate your patience as we wrap up the final chapter in the Fenphen litigation.

For those cases that remain in the original Fenphen class action, we are seeing progress in that front as well. The Trust has indicated that checks will start to be distributed at the end of the first quarter of this year. I anticipate those checks to be processed in March and I hope the office will start to receive such by April. Once those checks reach our office they will quickly be entered into the system and forwarded to the clients who are awaiting payment from the Settlement Trust. The Miller Firm has invested considerable time and finances into resolving the Fenphen issues over the last several years although we would all agree these cases did not settle in the manner of which we had originally hoped. We feel that we did the best job possible in getting these resolved fairly and expeditiously. We again thank you for giving us the opportunity to handle your claim.
